Miss Jac’s journey as a dancer started at the early age of 1 (pretty much as soon as she could walk), originally from Perth, WA she trained multiple genres of dance including Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Cheer at a few different recreational skills. She then extended her training by taking a different turn and doing ballet full-time for 5 years at the Perth School of Ballet which took her travelling and competing at various different ballet events and intensives and also completing multiple levels of Chechetti Ballet and contemporary exams.
Jacqleen then wanted to go back to her roots training in a more commercial field doing recreational classes while also gaining experience doing assistant teaching and teaching my own competition solos and duos by the age of 17.
Jacqleen moved to Melbourne to push her career further as a dance/choreographer, training full-time at Transit Dance doing the Performing Arts program for 2 years which gave her a Diploma in Elite Performance. She has found a deep passion for teaching and providing a safe space where students can be themselves, work hard, be creative, explore their individuality and most of all have fun!
She has received a lot of knowledge over her years of training and is very grateful to have experienced as many opportunities and auditions by her age now at 19. She is extremely passionate about dance and the community and can’t wait to share the knowledge she has learnt with students.
