Mirrin embarked on her movement journey with a promising start in gymnastics before transitioning to dance at the age of 14. Under the tutelage of the Joanne O’Kelly School of Dance, she successfully completed her Cecchetti Ballet Exams up to Advanced 1. Notably, Mirrin achieved the position of dux of VET Dance, earning a stellar score of 50, and showcased her talent in the VCE top class solos.Following her high school journey, Mirrin continued her dance training at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, where she successfully completed the two-year Certificate of Performance program. Her time at the Ministry led to an invitation to join the youth contemporary company, Project Y, with whom she performed for three seasons.
Since graduating, Mirrin has established herself as a freelance dancer in Melbourne, contributing to nationally touring shows such as The Pink Show and the Lady Marmalade Show. Additionally, she has earned choreographic credits for projects with Monash University and the performance group, The Itchy Feet Pep Band.
Fuelling her passion for dance teaching, Mirrin has seamlessly integrated this role alongside her flourishing performing career.
